Insulated and heated HS hydrants – with automatic anti-freezing system for the water system inside the hydrant. The hydrant is intended for places exposed to low temperatures down to -25 °C (in windless conditions). The HS hydrant is insulated with insulation material with a heat transfer coefficient of 0.042 W / (m * K) and equipped with a 150W / 230V heating element with thermostat. As the interior temperature decreases, the thermostat automatically switches the heating on so that the temperature inside the hydrant does not fall below +5 °C. The special design of the hydrant cabinet additionally protects the hydrant against heat loss and condensation.
Heated hydrants are available in versions:
– recessed-surface hydrants for indoor use,
– recessed hydrants for use outside the building,
– flush-mounted hydrants for outside of the building.
